New update (v0.1.1)


Thanks to everyone who played Spook 'Em and gave feedback!

Post-jam I've been able to go back and address some of the bugs and issues. Updates include:

  • Support for holding the Z key down (instead of just pressing it once) to hide. It is still a toggle, but it won't rapidly flash from hidden/non-hidden states if you hold down the Z key.
  • More forgiving jumping. There is now a grace period of a few frames when you leave a platform when you can still jump. Should make platforming less frustrating.
  • A fix to the camera reset when you die before reaching the first checkpoint. Will no longer place camera halfway off the edge of the world.
